A Fundus fluorescein angiography helps us in recording using a confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscope (cSLO) in place of the conventional fundus camera. This complex instrument uses a laser beam of the appropriate excitation wavelength to scan across the fundus in a raster pattern to illuminate successive elements of the retina, point-by-point.
